Un altro presente: le modificazioni immaginative

Vincenzo Costa

Abstract

Understanding the relationship between emotion and imagination is one of the most fascinating and challenging issue of phenomenology. In this paper, I explore this topic, discussing a number of points of views, which define imagination as a weak perception. In contrast with this tradition, I argue that imagination is totally different from perception and is a process by which a human being is opened to his/her own possibilities, opening up the horizon of the possible.
